Information for Applicants

The Diploma Programme at Bjørnholt vgs requires a student to study languages, social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics over two years. Students must have already completed the first year of Norwegian videregående skole, or a similar academic preparation such as MYP 5 or GCSE’s, among other equivalencies. The IB Diploma course which is taught in English, caters to internationally mobile student applicants and internationally-minded Norwegian students interested in a secondary school education offering a more in-depth study in university preparatory subjects.

Bjørnholt vgs has offered the IB Diploma program since 2010. We offer a highly qualified faculty dedicated to teaching IB subjects, with many years of experience within the IB Program as teachers, examiners and alumni of the IB Diploma Program.
